These are two separate fees that Chateau Woods M.U.D. is charged by different entities for each 1,000 that is pumped out of the ground. Chateau Woods M.U.D. passes these charges onto their customers as a per 1,000 gallon charge. This is why you will see this amount increase on your bill when your water usage increases.
The Chateau Woods M.U.D. Board of Directors meets on the 4th Thursday of the month (3rd Thursday of the month in November and December) at 7:00 P.M. The meeting is held at the M.U.D. building located at 10224 Fairview Dr.
Residents are welcome and encouraged to attend the monthly meetings. Please be advised, while there is a section on the agenda for "Comments from the Public," if you would like to discuss something specific that the Board of Directors would need to vote on it must be listed as its own agenda item. Contact the billing/operations office before to noon on the Friday prior to the meeting in order to get put on the agenda.
All new construction and renovations (including but not limited to garages and home additions) MUST be approved by the M.U.D. Board prior to the start of construction
All customers of the Chateau Woods M.U.D. must pull a permit prior to the installation of any in ground swimming pools or irrigation systems. Inspections must also be conducted by an inspector from the Operations office prior to completion and pipes being covered. Along with the completed permit form, customers must provide a plot plan of their property showing where all the pool and/or all water lines will be placed. Please keep in mind that nothing should be placed in any utility easements on the property.
Chateau Woods M.U.D. offers online billing options for customers now. Click the PayClix icon on this page to be taken to the website. Sign up with PayClix to receive billing emails (including a reminder email if your bill is unpaid two days before the due date), online access to your bill and online payment options. Online billing statements and emails are completely free for all customers.

Please make sure to complete the correct application for your address. Submitting an incorrect application may result in delays with water connection. If you have any questions don't hesitate to contact the billing office at 281-367-0935.
In order to connect water service (or transfer it into your name) an original (no copies can be accepted) application, all applicable fees and a copy of the applications photo ID must be submitted. For In-District Property Owners: Proof of ownership of the property is required. If you are unable to provide this documentation you will need to complete the non-owner paperwork and pay the fees associated with that application.
Once all of the fees and paperwork are received, our office will connect water service to your property within 36 hours.
For all In District customers garbage service is included on your monthly water bill. Garbage collection days are Mondays and Thursdays. If you have specific questions regarding trash collection, please contact Waste Management at 1-800-800-5804.
Make sure to inform them that you live in the Chateau Woods M.U.D. They will NOT be able to pull up the correct account if you give them your address.
